Welcome to worship!
For the past several weeks, we’ve been exploring the spiritual gifts and asking a simple question: How does Jesus continue His ministry through His Church?
We’ve discovered that God has not called us to sit on the sidelines. He has given every believer gifts to use for the good of others and the building up of His Church. Some gifts are visible, others happen quietly behind the scenes, but every gift matters because every person has a part to play.
Today, as we bring this series to a close, we’re going to consider one more question: What about revival?
Throughout Scripture and church history, there have been extraordinary seasons when God seemed to draw especially near—awakening His people, bringing deep repentance, saving the lost, and renewing His Church. Should we expect that? Can we cause it? And what should we be doing while we wait and pray for God to move?
A farmer understands that there is work to be done whether the rain comes today or not. The soil still needs tending. The seed still needs planting. The field still needs attention. But while the farmer works, he also looks to the sky for something he cannot provide himself.
The same is true for the Church.
We tend the field. We pray for rain.
My prayer today is that we leave this series determined to faithfully use whatever God has placed in our hands, while continuing to ask Him to do among us what only He can do.

Use what God has given you. Every believer has a role, and ordinary Spirit-empowered ministry matters.
Revival Is an Extraordinary Move of God

We can prepare the field, but only God can send the rain.
In Revival, Jesus Becomes Central

True revival doesn’t make us fascinated with revival; it makes us devoted to Jesus.
When God Comes Near, People Are Humbled

The evidence of God’s presence isn’t how dramatic the experience is, but what changes afterward: humility, repentance, love, forgiveness, obedience, and concern for the lost.
We Cannot Stay on the Mountain

The mountaintop is a gift, but the valley is where faithfulness is lived out. We eventually go back to serving people in a broken world.

Read: Psalm 85:6–7
Reflect: Where do you long to see God bring renewal? Can you trust His timing and answer?
Pray: Lord, revive us according to Your will. Keep us faithful as we wait. Amen.
