Welcome to Worship!
We’re so glad you’ve chosen to be with us today. Whether you’re here for the first time or the hundredth, it’s a privilege to share this time of worship and reflection with you.
Today, we look at one of the most sobering stories in the life of David—a man after God’s heart who made a series of small compromises that led to devastating consequences. In 2 Samuel 11, what begins as a quiet evening at home ends with broken trust, tragic loss, and a cover-up that shakes the kingdom.
But this isn’t just a story about David. It’s a mirror for us all. Temptation is real. Compromise is dangerous. And no one is immune. Yet, even in our worst moments, God’s grace is still available. His mercy meets us not after we get it together, but in the very place where we fall apart.
We believe that following Jesus is about more than avoiding failure—it’s about becoming people who walk in wisdom, accountability, and grace. That’s why we pursue discipleship through three core commitments:
Gathering – In worship and fellowship, we find strength for the journey.
Growing – Through Scripture and spiritual habits, we learn to guard our hearts.
Serving – In grace-filled action, we reflect the heart of Christ to others.
If you’re struggling, searching, or simply ready for a fresh start—you’re not alone. We’re here to walk with you. Call 410-639-2144 or email me directly.
All for Him!
Pastor Gary

Benediction | Life is much more than an accident. Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there. Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there. He has a purpose for me being there - Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am. I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power. |
