Welcome to Worship!
We’re so glad you’ve chosen to join us for worship today! Whether you're here for the first time or you’ve been walking with us for years, we’re grateful to spend this time together seeking God, growing in faith, and encouraging one another.
This week in our series on the life of David, we come to one of the most unexpected and moving stories of his reign. It’s not a battle or a victory parade—it’s a quiet moment of kindness that echoes through eternity. David finds a man named Mephibosheth — crippled, forgotten, and hiding in fear — and he offers him a seat at the king’s table.
It’s a beautiful picture of grace. But grace, as we’ll see, is never easy. It’s humbling to receive and challenging to give. And yet, it's what we all need most — and what God calls us to offer others.
Our mission as a church is to make disciples of Jesus by living out our faith through three essential practices:
Gathering – We believe faith is meant to be shared. We worship, fellowship, and grow in groups so that none of us walks alone.
Growing – We take Jesus’ call to spiritual maturity seriously, learning and practicing habits that shape our lives in Christ.
Serving – We follow Jesus not just with words, but with action—loving our neighbors in tangible ways that reflect His grace.
Thanks again for being here. If you have any questions, need prayer, or want help finding a way to grow or serve, I’d love to talk with you. Feel free to reach out to me directly at 410-639-2144 or send me an email.
Let’s worship the Lord—not just with music, but with our whole lives.
Welcome Home!
All for Him!

Benediction | Life is much more than an accident. Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there. Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there. He has a purpose for me being there - Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am. I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power. |

Message Notes
David #22: The Problem of Grace
2 Samuel 8-9
Grace upon Grace
2 Samuel 8
Grace Is Initiated by the Giver
2 Samuel 9:1-5; Romans 5:8
God’s grace finds us before we ever think to seek Him.
Grace Exposes Our Brokenness
2 Samuel 9:6-8; Ephesians 2:1–9
Grace is humbling—because it meets us in our weakness, not our strength.
Grace Elevates the Unworthy
2 Samuel 9:9-13; Romans 8:15–17
Do for one what you wish you could do for everyone.
Bottom Line:
“We are called to show grace just as we've been shown grace.”

Daily Devotional Reading:
