Welcome to worship.

We’re so glad you’re here today. Whether this is your first time with us or you’ve been part of our church family for years, we’re grateful you’ve chosen to worship with us.

Today we continue our journey through the Sermon on the Mount with a message titled “Before You Judge Me…” from Matt 7:1–12. These words of Jesus are some of the most familiar—and most misunderstood—in all of Scripture. While many hear “do not judge” as a call to avoid others altogether, Jesus is actually inviting us into something much deeper: a life marked by humility, self-awareness, and grace.

As we come to this passage, we’ll see how Jesus shifts our focus from evaluating others to examining our own hearts. He challenges us to deal honestly with our own struggles so that we can see clearly and love others well. Along the way, He reminds us that we are not left to figure this out on our own—we are invited to ask, seek, and knock, trusting in the goodness of our heavenly Father.

Ultimately, Jesus leads us to a simple but powerful way of living: to treat others with the same grace and mercy we ourselves have received.

Thank you for being here today. If you have any questions about our church or would like to learn more about getting connected, we would love to hear from you. You can reach the charge office at 410-639-2144 or email me directly.

May today’s time of worship draw you closer to the heart of the Father and help you reflect His grace to those around you..

Benediction

Life is much more than an accident.  Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there.  Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there.  He has a purpose for me being there - Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am.  I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power.
