We’re so glad you’ve joined us for this special time of worship. Today’s service is a little different—it’s part message, part music, and all testimony.

In 2 Samuel 22, King David looked back over his life and sang a song of deliverance. It wasn’t a perfect song—it carried verses of joy and verses of regret—but through it all, he declared one unshakable truth:

“The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock.”

Like David, each of us has a life song that God is writing. Every note—every victory, every valley—becomes part of His melody of grace. Throughout this service, you’ll hear some of the songs that have shaped our journey and draw from Scripture to celebrate three great truths:

God my Hope, God my Savior, and God my Restorer.

My prayer is that as we sing and reflect together, you’ll hear the rhythm of God’s faithfulness in your own story—and maybe even find yourself humming a new chorus of praise by the time you leave.

Whether this is your first visit or you’ve worshiped here for years, we invite you to fully participate: sing, listen, pray, and let the Spirit write a fresh verse of His grace on your heart.

We’re glad you’re with us.

Let’s worship Him together..

In Christ,

Pastor Gary

Prayer of Thanksgiving

Benediction

Life is much more than an accident.  Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there.  Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there.  He has a purpose for me being there - Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am.  I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power.

Message Notes

DAVID #36: David’s Lifesong: The Lord Lives

Verse 1: God my Hope

Prayer is our first move, not our last resort

Like David, we call out before we figure out a plan. Hope begins when calling becomes our reflex.

Verse 2: God my Savior

Salvation always leads to presence

God didn’t just pull you out of the pit—He filled you with His Spirit. Rescue is the beginning; relationship is the goal.

Verse 3: God my Restoration

You were saved for something, not just from something

We are God’s workmanship—His song—created to live out good works that reflect His grace and goodness.

Bottom Line:

God turns every verse of our story into a song of His grace

- our hope in Him, our salvation through Him, and our restoration by Him.

TAKE IT HOME:

God My Hope

Read: Psalm 62:5–8  Where in your life are you struggling to trust God as your Rock and Refuge? How can you make prayer your first response instead of your last resort this week? What does it look like for you to depend on God rather than your own strength?

God My Savior

Read: Titus 3:4–7 What does it mean to you that salvation is something God does for you, not something you do for Him? Where have you seen God rescue you—from sin, fear, or yourself? How can you rest more fully in God’s grace and live like someone who’s been redeemed?

God My Restorer

Read: Ephesians 2:8–10 How has God rewritten parts of your story through His grace? What labels or failures do you need to surrender so God can redefine you? What “good works” or new verses might God be inviting you to live out this week?

Wake-Up Call provides a daily encouragement to shake off the slumber of our busy lives and turn our eyes toward Jesus. Each morning our community gathers around a Scripture, a reflection, a prayer, and a few short questions, inviting us to reorient our lives around the love of Jesus who transforms our hearts, homes, churches, and cities.

Tuesday – Our Restoration - God, You make all things new. Take what is broken in us and shape it into a testimony of Your mercy and faithfulness. 2 Cor 5:17

Wednesday – Our Families - God, teach us to build our homes on Your Word. Let Your love heal our relationships and make our families a witness to Your grace. Joshua 24:15
