April 30th Worship Program
Updated: May 1
Thank you for joining us for worship this week. I pray that you get a sense of God’s presence as we worship together.
Today we continue a message series focused on some of the core beliefs of our faith titled Firm Foundations. Each week we take on one of the essential doctrines of the historic Christian faith to understand the doctrine as well as how it impacts our faith.
This week we are considering the doctrine of God the Father, specifically how God as Creator and Sustainer of all that we know of this world reveals God’s caring heart for each one of us. How are we to respond to his caring heart?
Now, if you didn’t know, we are three sister churches here in Rock Hall who share the same mission, to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world, including our community.
Everyone is welcome here because no one here is perfect, but together anything can happen.
The same power that was at work in Jesus is transforming our lives, and our community as we live out our faith - sharing and showing God’s love - by serving our neighbors and telling the story of His love working in our lives.
If you have any questions about our church or want to discuss your faith journey, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. My email is firstname.lastname@example.org and my office telephone is 410-639-2144.
Thank you again for joining us.

Find practical ways you can take a first “next step” in your faith journey on our website. Just go to nextsteps.yourrhc.com.
Life is much more than an accident. Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there. Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there. He has a purpose for me being there -
Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am.
I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power.
If you would like someone to pray with you, please come and meet one of our ministry leaders at the end of the service.
This week’s YouVersion Bible Reading Plan:
The Way of the Father
Because of your relationship with Jesus, your Abba Father looks at you and says, “That's my child!” God’s first thought is of you as His son or daughter, all from a heart of love. K-LOVE Books’ inaugural release from artist, actor, and author Michael W. Smith, The Way of the Father, offers this five-day study to encourage and inspire every Christ-follower in a personal journey of faith with the Father.
To participate in the process of discernment for your church, please engage the information under the “disaffiliation” tab on our website
Rock Hall Church and Wesley Chapel are holding a Church Conference on Saturday May 6th at 1:00 pm in order to vote on a motion to disaffiliate from the UMC and join the Global Methodist Church.
