October 29th Worship Program

Welcome to Church!

We're so glad to see each and every one of you here this weekend. As we gather for worship, I want to make sure you know how grateful we are to have you worship with us. It's a joy to worship alongside you and share in this journey of faith.

This weekend, our focus will take us to the “fallout” from Peter’s first sermon. We are witnessing the birth of the church and will get to wrestle with how God is calling us to pattern our fellowship after theirs. This is a crucial lesson in our work to reach our community, as we share and show God’s love.

After the service, stay a while, enjoy some coffee, take a few minutes to engage friends and neighbors in conversation, or spend some time in prayer. We hope you find our church is not just a place of worship but a community of support and love.

Thank you for being a part of the family today, and may this weekend’s worship be a source of inspiration, reflection, and connection. If you have any questions or want to discuss your faith journey, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. My office telephone is 410-639-2144, or just use the question cards in each pew.

Richest Blessings!

Closing Worship Benediction

Life is much more than an accident. Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there. Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there. He has a purpose for me being there -

Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am.

I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power.

If you would like someone to pray with you, please come and meet one of our ministry leaders at the end of the service.

Take it Home:

-What is our church's unique DNA, and how can I maintain an outward focus in our mission?

-How can I transform my approach from "believing before belonging" to "belonging before believing" for newcomers and potential believers?

-What steps can I take to foster accountability and support within our church, particularly through small groups?

-In what areas do I, as an individual, need to repent in order to grow and remain united on our mission?

-How can I ensure unity and prevent division within our church, keeping my focus on the most important aspects of our mission?
