VISITATION AND MEMBER CARE

LOVE ONE ANOTHER, NO MATTER WHAT

In Touch Ministries

Our In Touch Ministry is one of the most vital areas of our church.  We truly love and care for our church family and community, and through this ministry, many volunteers and leaders make a real impact on the lives of people in our community.

PURPOSE OF VISITATION AND MEMBER CARE

John A. Groves

Visitation Pastor

The new testament is full of “one another” statements, directions as to how we in the church are to treat and care for “one another”.  Some of these include, care for, love, encourage, comfort, etc.  This is what our In Touch Minsitry seeks to do.

As people have begun to live longer, we have begun to notice issues of loneliness and inactivity to be real issues for these folks.  We want to walk through life with our members and neighbors as they experience these transitions in life.

There are five essentials components to our In Touch Ministry:

  1. Hospital visitations
  2. Nursing Home visitations
  3. Home communion
  4. Pet Pals
  5. Prayer chain
  6. Cards and letters

HOW TO JOIN THE TEAM

Facets of In Touch Ministries

Hospital Visitations

Home Visits

We reach out to those who are able to remain living at home, but aren't as mobile as they used to be. We bring communion to those who can't get to church as well.
