I’M NEW HERE
Point toward the next steps on your journey
Rock Hall UMC has roots in our community all the way back to 1821. But we don’t act like a 200 year old church. Our faith is fresh and alive. We might be classified as new traditional.
The life of our church revolves around relationships. We really enjoy being together. We have small group bible studies during the week and on Sunday. Our meetings and rehearsals often turn into hang outs with friends.
In our worship, we practice many things you might experience in more liturgical churches, we just add in some more modern practices. The biggest difference you will notice is that our worship is led by a live band rather than an organ and choir. Other than that, you will find us to be a loving group of folks who are comfortable in with one another and in our worship.
We do share holy communion on the first Sunday of the month and each week we offer our attendees a staffed nursery.

Our Sunday morning worship with a staffed nursery begins at 11am. Our adult Bible studies begin at 9:30am.
A church where a person with no church background can come and feel comfortable and take something away from our worship because the atmosphere will be friendly, encouraging, and relevant to their lives.
Our mission statement can be summed up in one simple phrase: To help people live IN Christ. This starts with knowing God through faith in Christ, then growing into this new found relationship. As we mature, we start to love like Jesus; this love transforms our hearts freeing us to live in Christ.
We value gathering together as believers in large and small groups. We value growing in our relationship with God, one another, and our community; and we value going as people sent by God to live out our faith for the Kingdom of God in our homes, careers, and neighborhoods.
Welcome to Rock Hall UMC. It is a real joy for us to meet newcomers and to tell you about all the good things God is doing in our church family. Check out the ministries offered at Rock Hall UMC and get involved! We have a place for every man, woman and child. Also find out about Small Groups. Listen to or watch some our sermons online and then come see us in person. You will be loved like family.
An audience of one “They arrived in Caesarea the following day. Cornelius was waiting for them and had called together his relatives and close friends.” (Acts 10:24, NLT) It’s a preachers problem…we always want more...
