April 16th Worship Program

Updated: Apr 17, 2023

Welcome!!

Thank you for joining us for worship this week. Our hope and prayer is that this time together in worship will be a great encouragement to our faith journey. Many prepare and serve each week so that all who come can experience the hope that is only found in a vibrant relationship with Jesus.

Today is a Big Day for our church. As we gather to celebrate our Lord Jesus, we will hear a story of God’s work in someone like me. Today is Laity Sunday, the day when regular folks, members of our church, share what God is doing in their lives as they bring the day’s message. If ever you wanted proof that God works in regular people, this week you will hear it and we pray to find inspiration for pursuing a similar relationship with Jesus.

If you didn’t know, our church is one of three sister churches here in Rock Hall who share the same mission, to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of our community and the world.

Everyone is welcome here because no one here is perfect, but together anything can happen.

The same power that was at work in Jesus is transforming our lives, and our community as we live out our faith - sharing and showing God’s love - by serving our neighbors and telling the story of His love working in our lives.

If you have any questions about our church or want to discuss your faith journey, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly. My email is gary@yourrockhall.church and my office telephone is 410-639-2144.

Thank you again for joining us.

Pastor Gary

Benediction

Life is much more than an accident. Wherever I go, I believe God needs me there. Wherever I am, I trust God has put me there. He has a purpose for me being there -

Christ, alive in me, wants to do something through me, no matter where I am.

I believe this and go in His grace and His love and His power.

If you would like someone to pray with you, please come and meet one of our ministry leaders at the end of the service.

In this Plan, we’ll dive into each aspect of the Fruit of the Spirit as well as learn how to live our lives led by Him.
